NetStar-1 Acquires AVIEL Systems

ROCKVILLE, MD. – April 10, 2008 – NetStar-1, Inc., a leading provider of information technology, engineering and program management services and solutions to U.S. federal government and commercial clients, announced today that it has acquired AVIEL Systems, Inc., a privately-held management and information technology consulting firm based in McLean, Va. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

AVIEL Systems, which includes Performance Management Consulting, Inc. and OPTIMUS Corporation, will be fully integrated within NetStar-1’s organization. With the AVIEL Systems acquisition, NetStar-1 will have nearly $200 million in annual revenue in 2008 and almost 800 technical and business operation professionals across the United States.

The combined companies will offer enhanced technical capabilities for a wide range of clients in national security, transportation and defense, including the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security, Transportation, Labor and Agriculture, plus the U.S. Army, Navy and Air Force. Nonfederal customers include leaders in medicine, retail, education and finance.
