March, 2006 - NetStar-1, Inc. (Rockville, MD) has announced that it has signed an agreement to bring injured military veterans and their families to Washington Nationals home baseball games. Under this program, military support organizations will select families of wounded veterans to come to a game as a guest of NetStar-1.
In a message from NetStar-1 President and CEO, Bill Strang, the executive stated, “Like so many other companies and individuals, we wanted to do something personal for our veterans and their families. We worked closely to develop a program that would be something that could be enjoyed and remembered by men and women. We thought that taking a family out to a night of baseball under the lights at RFK Stadium would be a great way to thank the members of the military who’ve sacrificed for our country.”
The program will start in late April and is expected to run throughout most of the 2006 baseball season.
